Christy Marchand of Whimzee Glass Jewelry is a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native who can't remember a time when she wasn't compelled to create. Successful in a variety of artistic endeavors over the year, it wasn't until she ventured in to the art of stained glass that she found her true love. "Working with glass is a never ending delight," she says. "It's physically straightforward but also delightfully abstract." After working on classic stained glass projects for many years, she has turned in a new direction. Her latest venture into unique beveled glass jewelry and accessories is proving to be a delight to others as well. Christy also shares her studio with her pet skunk and squirrel, Buster and Gussie.
